Screen: As performance spaces were shutting down over the pandemic, Cass gained support from the Arts Council Emergency Fund which enabled them to train in film making. They attended ZOOM Film School at Four Corners, and gained skills in cinematography and film production.
Cass then wrote and shot their first short film, Oubliette (2023), co-directed by Charly Flyte. The film was selected for two film festivals - this year it has screened at Whorehouse Cinema in Amsterdam and at Red Umbrella Festival in Dublin.

Oubliette interrogates notions of hyper femininity and erotic empowerment, fused with portrayals of coercion and neurodivergence.
Cass is currently writing their second short film, for which they are receiving artistic mentoring. For this project they are a shortlisted candidate for the DYSPLA Storymaker's Residency, in conjunction with Hat Trick Productions, Disability Arts Online and Signature Pictures Academy.
